Many custom soapstone sinks have exposed front aprons. This feature commonly moves the sink slightly forward and can greatly improve kitchen ergonomics. Exposed apron or "farmhouse" style soapstone sinks may have angled, straight or rounded fronts and add thickness and dimension to the finished design.
